Deciding to Beat My Addiction

I have an addiction.  Are you picturing me hunched over some horrible drug, shaking with withdrawal, willing to fight anyone that comes between me and my fix? Well, you wouldn’t be too far off. I’m coming clean.

What’s my drug of choice, you ask? Sugar. What?! Sarah, that’s not a drug! Oh, I beg to differ. Actually sugar affects the neurological receptors in your brain. In fact studies have shown that sugar can be as addictive as many illegal drugs and the withdrawal symptoms can be quite severe.

The withdrawal symptoms of sugar can include headaches, insomnia, moodiness, stomach issues, among other things. I experience all of these when I try to kick the habit. Every single time I try to clean up my diet, sugar is my downfall. About a year ago, I had kicked my habit of consuming sweets daily for about two months. I felt amazing! Then someone brought cupcakes to work. I decided just one wouldn’t hurt after all the time I had gone without them. So I ate it. Then I ate another one. Then my body began to shake and I felt sick to my stomach. With trembling hands I turned to Dr. Google to search for a way to reverse what I had done to myself. The only suggestion was to drink water and wait it out. Unfortunately the damage was done. That night I ate some candy and jumped back on the sugar express. I’m still trying to get off it.

For the last two weeks I have been trying once again to kick my sugar habit. I’m failing. So today I took a leap of faith. I’ve decided to get it under control once and for all.  I joined Plexus. I’ve been watching a friend of mine for a few months now as she has literally transformed in front of my eyes. She’s lost weight, gained confidence, and kicked the things that were holding her back for good. I am ready to admit that I can’t do it on my own.

So starting next week I will begin taking Plexus Slim to regulate my blood sugar and help me fight the cravings. Many people take this as a weight loss product because one of the greatest side effects of regulating blood sugar is that you eat less, crave less, and lose weight! But I just want to feel better and take control of my health. If I lose a little around the middle at the same time, I will not complain. I promise. After a few days I will add in ProBio5 and BioCleanse, two products that will help me get my gut healthy and rid my body of the toxins that I know are keeping me from living my life to the fullest.

So that’s it. I’m kicking this habit, and I’m inviting you to watch. I’ll post soon and let you know how it’s going. And if you’d like to join me on this journey and give Plexus a shot for yourself, I’m happy to answer any questions or send you more information. Already know about it and want to leap with me? You can purchase a great starter kit here.
